This work visa is intended for Mexican professionals, which allow them to work legally in the United States. The candidate for this visa must have a job offer in the United States. This visa, which is the result of Mexico's trade agreement with the United States and Canada (T-MEC) allows Mexican professionals, who have some of the following careers or fields in their professional preparation habit, to work for periods of one to three years.

The H-2B program allows U.S. employers or job agents, who meet specific regulatory requirements, to bring foreigners to the United States to fill temporary non-agricultural jobs.
